WHY WE’RE DIFFERENT

Physician or Nurse Practitioner Onsite Daily: For residents who choose to use our Primary Care Physician or Nurse Practitioners, one to two of these medical providers is onsite here 5 days a week thanks to our Partnership with Froedtert Health and the “Mobile Care Team” they have placed at Congregational Home.  This level of primary care availability is rarely seen in most other facilities and is key in helping to keep our residents stable and out of the hospital.

24-Hour Onsite RN Nurse Coverage: While not all facilities have an RN nurse onsite for all 3 shifts, Congregational Home always has multiple RN’s onsite 24/7, in addition to our LPN nurses & CNA nurse assistants.

CNAs Focus Only on Residents:  Unlike some facilities, our CNAs are dedicated CNAs, focusing only on the care of residents, they are not pulled away to perform duties in the housekeeping, laundry or kitchen departments; Congregational Home has other dedicated staff in sufficient numbers to perform those duties.

No Temp Agency Nursing Staff: Some facilities may turn to outside agencies to supply them with nursing staff, but we use only our own staff to strengthen our team and ensure quality of care & continuity of care.

Specialty Nurses: We are proud to have the additional expertise of these nurses:

  • Certified Infection Preventionist Nurse

  • Certified MDS Nurses

  • Wound Treatment Associate Nurses

24-Hour Help Call System with TALK CAPABILITY: Not all facilities have help call systems with talk capability, but we do – just like the hospitals do!  All our levels of care, even Independent Living, have this help call system.

100% Vaccinated Staff: Congregational Home mandates that all of our staff members be vaccinated against COVID & Influenza.
