Tai Chi
Congregational Home residents can experience the relaxing & rejuvenating effects of Tai Chi, either standing or sitting in a chair, with one of our certified Tai Chi instructors. Tai Chi is meditation in motion and a gentle form of exercise through graceful, flowing movements.

Pet Therapy
Dogs, with their unconditional love & acceptance, can be a wonderful source of joy for anyone, but especially for seniors. That’s why Congregational Home is so proud to have our 20+ year partnership with Pets Helping People, a non-profit organization that specializes in training dogs for pet therapy or AAI, Animal Assisted Interventions. PHP holds classes onsite at Congregational Home for pet therapy dogs-in-training & their human parents; our residents get to watch the classes & become part of the learning process –how fun!  We also encourage residents’ families and friends to bring in their own pets for visits; pets should have a good temperament & updated vaccination records.
